SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for transportation and preservation outside the biological sample and corresponding method. Device (1) includes chamber (2) for containing biological sample (100), bounded by walls (4) made of heat-insulating material. Besides, the device includes cooling means (6), which maintain temperature inside chamber (2) below temperature outside device (1) and an ultrasonic system configured to generate and apply ultrasound to biological sample (100). Invention also discloses a method of transportation and preservation, which combines application of cooling and ultrasound.

EFFECT: proposed device provides reducing cell damage in a biological sample.
