FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, in particular to measurement of dynamic characteristics and additional calculations of such physical quantities as inertial characteristics of mechanical oscillation systems, in which the body of the desired mass is included in their composition, and the unknown mass is determined from the results of calculation and experimental determination of natural frequencies or periods of free oscillations of these systems. Method includes connection of body with support by means of elastically deforming link with formation of weighing element of oscillatory system, displacement of body from position of its static equilibrium, unbalance of oscillatory system, registration of time sweep of oscillations with further determination of dynamic parameters of free vibrations of oscillatory system and body weight. Period and time of relaxation of damped oscillations of the weighted element of the oscillating system are measured. Periodically, the same parameters are measured on oscillating damped systems formed by separate connection of two different mass standards to the elastically deformed link. Absolute error of determining body weight is evaluated by the difference between the stiffness coefficient of the oscillatory system, measured in separate experiments, as the proportionality coefficient in Hooke's law, and the stiffness coefficient obtained in dynamic tests of damped oscillatory systems.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of measurement of desired body weight, simple method.
