FIELD: agriculture; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building and can be used in machinery for fodder production. Rotary mower with device for conditioning forage grasses comprises cutting unit with rotating discs 2 with hinged knives 3 and beater 4, which are made of angles with different sides. Along the wide flanges of the angles the chamfers have edges with blunted edges and fastening holes are located. Short side flanges of angles play the role of blades. Each pair of beats 4 is installed on each disc 2 with its wide flanges diametrically opposite and perpendicular to blades 3 of discs 2. Beaters 4 are hinged to hubs of mower.
EFFECT: rotary mower reduces load on drive of cutting device and increases traumatic treatment of stems.
