SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in machinery for fodder production. Rotary cutter with conditioning device includes cutting device with rotating disks with pivoted blades and vertically installed removable drums 4 with bases 6 in their lower parts. Drums 4 are shaped as hollow cylinders, and their bases are rigidly attached to disks 6. Covers 7 of drums and beaters 5 are located in upper part of drums 4. Beaters 5 are made of strip with rectangular cross-section with cutting edge. They are installed into slots 13 of drums 4 and pivoted with splinted pins 14 in brackets 9. Slot 13 of drums 4 provide deviation of beaters 5 to 90°. At rotation of drums 4 ends of beaters 5 circumscribe circle with diameter not exceeding diameter of circle circumscribed by ends of pivoted knives of disks.

EFFECT: mowing machine is easy in operation and provides more intense processing of grass clippings.
