MOWER WITH AN APPLIANCE CONDITIONING FODDER GRASSES Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A01D34/66 A01D43/10

Abstract RU 2772659 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: mower with an appliance conditioning fodder grasses comprises a load-bearing beam (1) with pairwise-rotating disks (2) with hinged knives (3) and beaters (4 and 5). Hinged flat beaters (2) with two straight blunted beater edges are installed on the extreme disks (2), and flat beaters (5) with one rounded blunted beater edge are installed on the inner disks (2). The beaters (4 and 5) are hinged by means of eccentric bolts on two carriers (7) containing a mounting part curved at an angle of 135° and a horizontal one welded to the upper surface of the disks (2) diametrically opposite and perpendicular to the hinged knives (3). The beaters (4 and 5) and carriers (7) are made of a steel strip with a rectangular cross-section and are provided with one mounting hole on the axis of symmetry of each beater (4 and 5), and similarly, two for each carrier (7): one on the horizontal part for securing the disks (2) on the hubs of the mower, and another on the part curved at an angle of 135° for hinge attachment of the beaters (4 and 5), wherein a sleeve is welded over said hole with the axes of symmetry of the holes offset by eccentricity. The end of the mounting part of each carrier (7) and each beater (4 and 5) on the side of the mounting hole is made rounded, and the diameter of the circumference created by the ends of all flat beaters (4 and 5) does not exceed the longitudinal section of the disks (2).

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the hinge assembly of attachment of beaters to mower disks and reduction in the energy consumption for the grass treatment process during mowing.
