DEVICE FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING, ROLLING AND PRESSING OF NON-FERROUS METALS AND ALLOYS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B22D11/06 

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to combined methods of continuous casting, rolling and pressing of non-ferrous metals. Device comprises tilting mixing furnace (1) with melt feed regulator (2) in rolls (3, 4), one of which is made with a groove, and the second one – with a ledge, forming a closed gage, at outlet of which there installed is cooled matrix (9) with calibrating hole, equipped with mechanism of its pressing to rollers, prechamber (7) located between matrix and caliber, and reeler (12). Rolls are installed in frame (5) cantilever at an angle β=5–85°. Prechamber (7) is made with cooling channels (8) and cylindrical cavity with inclination in range α=90–175°. On the bed there is pressure unit (13) made in the form of two plates (14) with two idle rollers (15) fixed in them and contacting with roller (4) with the protrusion and providing its clamping to roller (3) with a groove. Pressure unit (13) compensates increase of clearance between rolls and prevents penetration of metal into it.

EFFECT: continuous mode of processing of non-ferrous metals and alloys.
