FIELD: smoking accessories.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerosol delivery devices, such as smoking articles, which can use electrically heat for aerosol generation (for example, smoking articles, usually called electronic cigarettes), and, in particular, to aerosol delivery devices, which initiate wireless data transmission for connection with operable wireless devices based on detection of triggering events. Aerosol delivery device comprises at least one housing, inside which there is a control component, configured to control the operation of at least one functional element of the aerosol delivery device when detecting an air flow passing through at least a portion of the at least one body; and a communication interface connected to the control component and configured to provide wireless communication, wherein the control component is configured to detect the predetermined triggering event and, when detected, automatically induce the communication interface to transmit the availability information of the aerosol delivery device to the wireless communication device with the operable wireless device, wherein the predetermined triggering event includes at least one case of detecting the air flow and prevents the user from actuating any button on the aerosol delivery device.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of aerosol delivery device.
