FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering for image processing. Technical result is achieved by decoding encoded image data in order to generate quantum data of transformation coefficients and performing inverse quantisation using a circuit of an image processing device, quantized transform coefficient data for image data using a size quantisation matrix 32 × 32, wherein quantisation matrix of size 32 × 32 is established by implementing the nearest neighbouring process, including duplication of at least one of two elements adjacent to each other in a quantisation matrix of size 8 × 8.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of encoding an image.
