FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. An optical system is proposed for carrying out amplification of nucleic acids. The system consists of a unit for excitation of fluorescence of reaction wells of a chip-cartridge and a unit for receiving a fluorescence signal. The place for the horizontal position of the chip-cartridge is located in the lower zone of the optical system, and the LEDs are made narrow-band and are installed along the side ends of the chip-cartridge. The unit for receiving the fluorescence signal is located above the reaction wells of the chip-cartridge, equipped with multispectral sensors or separate photodiodes.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the compactness, versatility and speed of the optical system with an increase in its reliability when carrying out various studies not only in the laboratory, but also in the field in real time.
