FIELD: remote probing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of remote probing of the Earth and concerns a method for radiometric correction of scanned image structure from multielement photodetector of multizone scanning device. Method includes obtaining, using the Earth's remote probing equipment with a multi-element photodetector, an image of the underlying surface, which is a matrix of values of effective energy brightness. Image is transmitted to the ground reception, processing and propagation system, on which radiometric correction of the scanned image structure is performed. At that, based on statistical analysis of values of effective energy brightness for each element of photodetector in areas of inter-scan coverage of successive scans, value of signal from each element of photodetector is compared with values of signal from several other elements, set of correcting coefficients is calculated. Using the obtained correction coefficients, linear conversion of values of effective energy brightness of each image element is performed.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of the image quality.
