FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to titanium materials and articles, such as titanium wire or bar. It can be used in heat exchangers using seawater, chemical plants, in aircraft hulls, in automotive industry. Titanium-containing structure of titanium material contains package made of technically pure titanium material, and filler, which is at least one of titanium sponge, titanium briquette and titanium scrap, and having the same type of chemical composition as technically pure titanium material. Internal absolute pressure in package is 10 Pa or less. Titanium-containing product made from the titanium-containing structure contains an outer layer made from the package, and an inner layer made from the filler; the share of cavities in the inner layer is more than 0 and not more than 30 %.
EFFECT: providing formation of titanium product without melting and forging, preventing formation of surface defects, maintaining required level of strength and elongation.
