FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to articles made from titanium alloy, and can be used for production of heat exchangers, condensers, refrigerators and other items with high corrosion resistance. Titanium product contains inner layer and surface layer, wherein chemical composition of surface layer consists, wt%: O 0.40 or less, Fe 0.50 or less, Cl 0.020 or less, N 0.050 or less, C 0.080 or less, H 0.013 or less, Ti and impurities – the rest. Chemical composition of inner layer consists, wt%: O 0.40 or less, Fe 0.50 or less, Cl more than 0.020 and not more than 0.60, N 0.050 or less, C 0.080 or less, H 0.013 or less, Ti and impurities – the rest. Inner layer has pores in the cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the titanium product; the pore area of the inner layer accounts for more than 0 and not more than 30 %.
EFFECT: obtained product is characterized by surface texture, as well as high ductility.
