SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to controlling actuation of a vehicle. Device which realizes the method of controlling actuation comprises a circuit for recognizing dividing lines, an evaluation module and a vehicle control circuit. Evaluation module determines movement of the transverse position of one of the dividing lines. Control circuit controls the value of the actuation control so that it reduces the control setting value used when the transverse position of one of the dividing lines, along which the vehicle in question is moving, moves in the other direction relative to the transverse position of the other separation line, to a value less than the control value of driving, used, when transverse positions of both separating lines move in identical direction.

EFFECT: comfortable state of the driver when changing the width of the strip.
