Driving control method compares driving characteristics of occupant in vehicle for manual driving in current vehicle trip with pre-stored driving characteristics, and if predetermined deviation occurs between driving individual occupying space in vehicle, for manual driving in current driving and driving characteristics, sets driving characteristics applied to automated driving according to driving characteristics of person occupying place in vehicle for manual driving in current trip.
EFFECT: automated driving in the current trip can be performed according to the driving characteristics required by the occupant of the vehicle in the vehicle.
