FIELD: transportation; control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and to motion control devices for vehicle movement control. Motion control device comprises a recognition processing circuit and a vehicle control circuit, a sensor which detects a vehicle in front and a cancellation circuit. Cancellation scheme cancels the control in the lane after a predetermined time if the recognition processing circuit does not detect the dividing line and the sensor detects the vehicle ahead of the vehicle when controlling lane hold. Predetermined time is shorter when the distance between the vehicle in question and the vehicle ahead is greater than a predetermined value than when the repetition distance is less than or equal to the predetermined value.
EFFECT: higher safety on road.
