FIELD: security monitoring methods.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to security monitoring methods using a break-wire reflectometric detection means (DM) on a terrain area with roads and can be used in applications of DM with a microwire sensitive element, which determines distance to point of breakage of microwire (MW) based on reflectometric method. In the method when deploying MW DM in three boundaries in the form of a letter Z through each of the roads and in one boundary on sections of the terrain between these roads, with accumulation of signals from DE from the moment of arrival of the first signal for a time determined by the distance between adjacent boundaries and the minimum possible violator movement speed, algorithm is used to determine location of disturbance along length of connected MW transmitted by DM together with alarm signal and direction of traffic along the road.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of probability of correct determination of movement of detected intruder on road and reduction of flow rate of length MW per unit length of signaling boundary.
