FIELD: means of detection.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the methods of the roads signaling covering and can be used in cases of using a detection device (DD). Method is to deploy the MP loop with the intersection of all three roads; establishing the distance between the intersections of the MP with the roads at least two distances, traveled along the road by the violator at the maximum speed during the transition of the DD from the alarm mode to the standby mode; establishing the distance between the sections of crossing the MP with the roads along the length of the MP is not less than five times the accuracy of the indication of the DD of the length of the MP connected to it; MP connection to DD; one or two DD transitions to the alarm mode and determining the length of the remaining connected part of the MP when it is interrupted by the violator; providing transmission of the alarm signal and the length of the remaining part of the MP connected to the detection means to the information collection and processing system; automatic DD transition into standby mode after alarm signal transmission; application of the algorithm for determining the direction of motion of the intruder on the basis of comparing the obtained length of the MP connected to the DD, or a combination of the two obtained lengths with a priori known dimensions of the MP deployment scheme across the roads.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the accuracy of determining the direction of movement of the detected intruder through the intersection of three roads using one DD.
