FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to compositions for oral care. Oral care composition contains a basic amino acid in a free or salt form, where the amino acid is arginine, which is present in amount of 1.5 wt. % in terms of total weight of composition, wherein weight of amino acid is calculated for free form; zinc oxide and zinc citrate, where zinc oxide is present in amount of 1 wt. % and zinc citrate is present in amount of 0.5 wt. % in terms of total weight of the oral care composition; fluoride source, where the fluoride source is sodium fluoride and where sodium fluoride is present in amount of 0.32 wt. % in terms of total weight of composition; abrasive based on silicon dioxide, which is characterized by acidic pH when measured in form of an aqueous suspension, where silica-based abrasive is present in amount of 3 wt. % to 15 wt. % in terms of total weight of composition; phosphate salt of alkali metal in amount of 0.5 wt. % in terms of total weight of composition; amphoteric surfactant in amount of 1.25 wt. % in terms of total weight of composition; and glycerol in amount of 35 wt. % in terms of total weight of composition. Also disclosed is use of said composition for oral care.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides stable viscosity of the composition.
