SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Method for reading the operating condition of a defibrillator containing a sound indicator with a diaphragm is implemented using a monitoring device. Proposed device comprises sensor to detect non-sound parameter related to diaphragm motion, hardware processor in electrical communication with sensor and output device in connection with hardware processor to output signal indicative of diaphragm motion. Monitoring device is provided. Signal diaphragm movement is read by means of monitoring device. Output signal corresponding to reading stage is generated. System for transmitting a defibrillator status report comprises a defibrillator comprising a buzzer with a diaphragm, and an electronic monitoring module located outside the defibrillator. Electronic module comprises a sensor for detecting a non-audio parameter related to motion of the diaphragm, a hardware processor, an output device and a wireless transmitter in communication with the output device for transmitting a defibrillator status report proceeding from a signal function.

EFFECT: monitoring and reporting the defibrillator state to a remote location with the possibility of low power consumption.
