FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method of processing sulphide and mixed molybdenum-containing concentrates involves mixing the concentrate with a calcium-containing additive taken in amount of 0.8–1.5 of the weight of the concentrate, granulating the obtained mixture and applying a layer of calcium hydroxide onto the surface of the granules. Then, oxidative annealing of granules is performed to obtain ash, aqueous leaching of the obtained ash in the first step for selective extraction of rhenium to solution and leaching alkali metal carbonate solution at second step for extraction into solution of molybdenum and remaining rhenium. Calcium-containing additive used is calcium oxide or hydroxide.
EFFECT: invention can be used for extraction of molybdenum and rhenium from sulphide and mixed molybdenum-containing concentrates.
