FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument-making and can be used in radioelectronic equipment units. Device for protection and compensation of pressure in a sealed volume with an external medium includes a housing made in the form of a hollow cylinder, into which a package of porous membranes and elastic ring seals are hermetically installed. Body is threaded. Membrane pack comprises two membranes arranged in order of pore size. On the side in contact with open air there is a membrane with the largest average diameter of pores, on the other side contacting with the sealed volume – with the least, at that, pores surface of membranes is hydrophobic or subjected to forced hydrophobization. Besides, the membranes in the package are located tightly to each other, on the outer side of the membrane they are fixed with an elastic ring seal or elastic adhesive joint; on the outer side of the housing there is a protective cover with a hole. Membranes are made of polymer materials.
EFFECT: technical result is protection against direct mechanical penetration of dust particles and water penetration when immersed therein, as well as simplified manufacturing and design of the device.
