FIELD: vehicle equipment and accessories.
SUBSTANCE: system for detecting location within boundaries for a vehicle includes a controller programmed to generate an alert in response to reading the presence of a person in the first area extending from the vehicle. System also includes a wireless receiving device configured to receive signals transmitted by the mobile device in the second area surrounding the vehicle. Controller is additionally programmed to issue an alert in response to reception of signals by a receiving device.
EFFECT: detection of a person approaching a vehicle on the side of the direction not tracked by the driver or passenger of the vehicle.
