FIELD: diagnostics of pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: use: for diagnostics of vessels and pipelines operating under pressure, by acoustic emission method. Summary of invention consists in the fact that preliminary study of acoustic properties of the monitoring object is carried out, then primary converters are installed, efficiency of acoustic emission equipment is checked and channels are calibrated, acoustic emission signals are recorded, determining the coordinates of developing defects and determining their degree of danger, initially loading the controlled object to 5 % of the test pressure, detecting acoustic emission, dividing it into signals of equal duration, for each signal, determining maximum amplitude, span, number of zero line crossings and number of local amplitude maxima, recording signals with noise and/or interference, recording them in database, then continuing loading to test pressure, parameters of each signal are compared with parameters from the database and in case of similarity, the signal is considered to be non-informative.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling expansion of technological control capabilities of structural elements subjected to interference effects, including electromagnetic ones.
