METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING AND DEVELOPING THE LEVEL OF HUMAN COGNITIVE MOTOR ABILITIES Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2704236 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, to diagnostics and development of human cognitive-motor abilities. Method involves the following: the researcher selects a diagnostics and / or development program from a software and hardware system library (PAC) containing means of video monitoring of human actions and facilities for visualizing content on the field of its actions. On a flat or with a given relief, a vertical field is visualized in a given place, given configuration and size of the zone, which signal to the person being tested about the place of performance of previously specified actions during performance of the test or exercise. Peculiarity is that diagnostics or development of the person under test is carried out with a portable device which forms a supplemented reality in the form of augmented images of a virtual wall of a given thickness and transparency with a given number of holes of a given size and configuration. Test person's task is to insert a hand into the virtual hole specified by the conditional backlight of the hardware and software system, without touching its edges, and / or to shift the object selected for dough or exercise from one hand to the other through neighboring holes specified in another illumination in the virtual wall. Any contact of the wall with a hand or an object used in tests and exercises is considered an error when performing the task. For visual control over the action of their hands, the test person is presented with a wall image of a given transparency, which is selected by the researcher depending on the functional state or preparedness of the person being tested. PAC records the correctness of the actions of the person being tested, which is explained to him by the researcher in advance, generates a bank of error data, their characteristics and, if necessary, sends audio or light signals to the person being tested to correct his actions in real time. Level of cognitive-motor abilities of the person being tested is determined based on the maximum speed of the person being tested, the accuracy of the suggested tests or exercises, as well as the value of the holes in the virtual wall.

EFFECT: invention provides more effective assessment and development of the level of cognitive motor abilities associated with manipulative hand function.
