FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmental pollution control and represents a method for determining compounds of anticholinesterase action in water and aqueous extracts, including measurement of the rate of enzymatic hydrolysis of butyrylthiocholine, according to the invention, when preparing samples, an enzyme preparation is used, based on jointly immobilized butyrylcholinesterase and indicator on thiol group 5,5'-dithio-bis(2-nitrobenzoic acid), distilled water as a solvent, holding both samples for 30–300 seconds in presence of 18–20 activity units α-amylases, triggering the reaction with a solution of S-butyrylthiocholine-I (S-BuCh-I), wherein ratio of volumes of S-BuCh-I solution in concentration of 2 mM and control or analyzed solution is 1:10, rate of substrate enzymatic hydrolysis is measured, wherein the criterion for the presence of butyrylcholinesterase inhibitors in the analyzed sample is 20 % or more decrease in the rate of enzymatic hydrolysis of butyrylthiocholine in comparison to the given parameter in the control sample.
EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy and shorter analysis time.
