FIELD: electric power engineering; construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and construction, in particular, to methods of prevention of falling of person during ascent and descent at high-rise objects. Method consists in the possibility of moving a person up and down on a high-rise object to the place of performance of works and is achieved by providing upward and downward movement of a safety catching runner connected to a person along a metal profile fixed on a high-rise object along it. Slider moves along the profile synchronously with the movement of the person, and when the person disembarks from the high-rise object stops its movement. Movement of the person both up and down on the high-rise object is achieved due to movement of safety catcher 1 along the metal profile in the form of metal strip 2. When a person is torn from a high-rise object, safety catcher 1 is stopped due to the ingress of its movable lug 3 into one of holes 4 in metal strip 2. Movement of a person up and down on the high-rise object is achieved by movement of safety catcher 5 along the metal profile in the form of metal strip 6. When a person is torn from a high-rise object, the safety catching runner is stopped by a friction force occurring between the surface of metal strip 6 and the surface of clamp 7 fixed on safety catcher 5.
EFFECT: disclosed method of preventing a person falling when climbing and lowering on a high-rise object enables to carry out required operations on supports and cross-beams of overhead transmission lines, on fiber-optic communication lines and on high-rise objects of other functional purpose with high degree of safety against probability of falling of a person from height.
