FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. Vehicle body structure comprises an assembly comprising interconnected side frame, reinforcement and lining. Reinforcement is installed between the body sidewall and the lining. Structure comprises a roof element and an elongated tray fixed on the assembly and configured to form a support for the roof element. Body structure also contains fastening elements, in particular, by means of welding, which can be preceded by preliminary connection, such as rivet joint of elongated tray with assembly, and elements of provision of tightness between elongated tray and assembly. Motor vehicle comprises the above body structure.
EFFECT: universal use of different types of roofs for vehicles is achieved.
