SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly cardiology, beam diagnostics and can be used to predict the risk of atherosclerotic vascular changes. Level of interleukin-6 in the blood serum is determined, and if value is 17.4 pg/ml or more, a high risk of atherosclerotic vascular changes is stated.
EFFECT: method provides higher effectiveness of early detection of atherosclerotic vascular changes.
