SUBSTANCE: waist circumference is measured in centimeters. Biochemical blood survey is conducted on an empty stomach with triglycerides level (mmol/l) and glucose level (mmol/l) determination. Scores are assigned to each of the considered indicators. The total score is calculated. If the total score is 2.5 or higher, high risk for atherosclerotic vascular changes for Caucasians is recorded.

EFFECT: method allows accurate, informative, accessible and easy way to predict the risk of atherosclerotic changes due to a comprehensive assessment of the most significant indicators.
