FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric engineering, namely to the high-voltage automatic circuit breaker containing the first and the second arc-extinguishing chambers (42, 44), located in the high voltage area, wherein each arc-quenching chamber includes movable contact (3b; 43b), made with possibility to switch between open and closed states, and actuation mechanism (46) located in high voltage area and configured to move movable contacts (3b; 43b) between open and closed states. Actuation mechanism comprises first actuator (48) configured to control movable contact (3b) of first arc-extinguishing chamber (42), and second actuator (50) configured to control movable contact (43b) of second arc-extinguishing chamber (44), and the configuration of the first and second actuating mechanisms provides translation of movable contacts of the first and second arc-extinguishing chambers (42, 44) independently from each other.
EFFECT: higher safety of protection of electric circuits from damage by overcurrents or short circuit, while increasing compactness of device, is technical result of invention.
