DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR DEGREE OF CERVICAL DYSPLASIA Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2704966 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to gynecology, and can be used for diagnosing degree of cervical dysplasia. Diagnostics method of degree of cervical dysplasia consists in histological examination of cervical biopsy materials and additionally performing immunohistochemical examination of excisional cervical biopsy materials with determination of markers Ki-67, p16 INK4a, Cyclin D1 in cover epithelium and glands, and with Ki-67 values of 11-20 % in cover epithelium, 7-13 % in glands, p16 INK4a – 4-8 % in cover epithelium, 0 % in glands, Cyclin D1 – 10-11 % in cover epithelium and glands – diagnosing stage CIN 1; with Ki-67 values of 55-75 % in cover epithelium, 73-91 % in glands, p16 INK4a 50-60 % in cover epithelium, 80-95 % in glands Cyclin D1 – 8-9 % in cover epithelium and glands – diagnosing stage CIN II; if Ki-67 values – 85-95 % in the cover epithelium, 92-95 % in the glands, p16 INK4a – 70-80 % in the cover epithelium, 96-98 % in the glands, Cyclin D1 – 5-6 % in the cover epithelium and glands – diagnosing stage CIN III, if Ki-67 values – 96-100 % in cover epithelium, 96-100 % in glands, p16 INK4a – 96-100 % in cover epithelium, 99-100 % in glands, Cyclin D1 – 3-4 % in cover epithelium and glands, CIS stage is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method described above enables accurate diagnosis of the degree of cervical dysplasia.
