FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of disperse particles from gases and can be used in oil, gas, chemical and other industries. Separator comprises vertical housing 1, inlet 2 and outlet 3 branch pipes, wherein inlet branch pipe 2 is located in upper part of separator, first curved fairing 5 and first swirler 6, made in form of guide blades arranged near first branch pipe 2, vortex channel 7 arranged under first fairing 5 and equipped with second fairing 8 and second swirler 9 made in the form of guide blades, wherein the cross-sectional area at the inlet of vortex channel 7 is less than the cross-sectional area of the lower part of first fairing 5, wherein upper part of outlet branch pipe 3 is arranged inside lower part of vortex channel 7, and confuser 11 located outside vortex channel 7 and dividing space between vortex channel 7 and housing 1 into two parts – through passage 19 and closed 20, wherein flow area of separator in flow part is smaller than flow area of inlet of vortex channel 7, and closed part 20 is pneumatically connected to outlet branch pipe 3.
EFFECT: invention ensures prevention of ingress of liquid phase of inlet flow to output of separator at low speeds of inlet flow and expansion of range of working speeds of separator.
