FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to performing a push test to determine whether a user action detected through a user interface associated with an application crosses a given application object. Such a result is achieved by the fact that the application may include one or more special content layers (SCL), on which in response to the user action, a decision on the direct manipulation of the object displayed in the user interface associated with the application can be immediately taken. Application processing module SCL can identify a push in response to detection of the intersection of the user action and one or more opaque pixels of at least one SCL during the SCL through processing, wherein the pixels correspond to the object. Application can then determine whether direct manipulation of the object through the application on the SCL side is permitted or not, and therefore whether the direct manipulation should be automatically initiated or blocked, respectively.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of pressing test time.
