SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to devices (110) for introduction of analyte sensor (114) into body tissue. Device comprises holder (120) of inlet needle and drive mechanism (124), providing movement of holder (120) of inlet needle in longitudinal direction (126) and comprises at least one drive member (132) configured to act on it manually and intended to actuate drive mechanism (124), and rotor (142) configured to convert movement of drive member (132) into movement of holder (120) of insert needle in longitudinal direction (126). Besides, device (110) for sensor insertion also includes at least one safety lock (164) made so that to enable locking of rotor (142) rotation at least in part, and to allow rotation of rotor (142) in deflected condition. At that, safety lock (164) is made with possibility of its control by hand and contains at least one pin (178) inserted into at least one hole (180) in rotor (142) with provision of at least partial blocking of rotor (142) rotation in this locked state of safety lock and extracted manually for switching safety lock (164) into unlocked state, in which at extracted pin (178) rotation of rotor (142) is allowed.
EFFECT: disclosed is sensor insertion device equipped with safety device.
