FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to diagnostic techniques in psychiatry. A computer electroencephalographic examination is performed using "10-20" leads and ear ipsilateral electrodes as reference electrodes. Spectral and coherent analysis of the obtained electroencephalograms is performed, wherein determining the coherence modulus of the coherence modulus C2 between leads F8-F4 in frequency range of 20–22 Hz; between the leads T5-P3 in frequency range 22–23 Hz, between the leads T6-P3 in frequency range 15.5–17 Hz, the normalized coherence (NC) values are determined by the formula. Y is calculated by original formula. If Y is more than zero, transsexualism in females is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method enables differential diagnosis of sexual identification in women with high validity and objectivity.
