METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PLASTICALLY SQUEEZED WIRE TWISTED ARTICLES AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC D07B7/02

Abstract RU 2742419 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of twisted articles coiled from separate wires, for example, lightning protection rope, cable of railway contact system, steel-aluminium wire or wire made of aluminium, copper or aluminium-based alloy for overhead transmission lines. Set task is solved by the fact, that method of wire twisted article manufacturing includes wire laying with linear contact of wires in one process operation, reduction of coiled wire article by cross-sectional area during its manufacturing and its subsequent winding after exhaust pulleys on drum. In twisted article with linear contact of wires, number of layers can vary from one layer to three, at that number of wires total in layers varies from 5 to 46. Cross-section area reduction is carried out in a system of roller gages "polyhedron - circle" in two roller stands with a total degree of squeezing on the cross-sectional area of the article, which varies depending on the purpose of the product in the range, equal (1.5–14) % of total degree of reduction along cross-sectional area of article. At that, in the first mill with reduction in the cross-section of the "polyhedron" cross-section, the value of reduction along the cross-section area is determined in the range equal to (1.0–10) %. In the second stand, located in the flow, immediately after the first stand, there is a final reduction in the "calibre" circle of the wire twisted article by nominal diameter.

EFFECT: technical problem, which solution is aimed at is improvement of quality of twisted article by creation of optimal uniform distribution of deformation along entire cross layer of twisted article during its manufacturing, with improved operational characteristics, which increase service life of twisted article.
