FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a surgical suturing instrument. Fastener cartridge assembly for use with a circular surgical stapling instrument comprises a cartridge body and first cavities for fasteners. Cartridge body comprises a circular platform. First cavities for fasteners are opened through circular platform. Each of the first cavities for fasteners comprises two ends of the cavity. One end of the cavity of each of the first fastener cavities is located on the first axial circle having a first radius, and the other end of the cavity of each of the first fastener cavities is located on the second axial circle, having a second radius, which differs from the first radius. Cavities for fasteners are arranged in annular mass. Circular massif contains at least one line of cavities for fasteners, which are located in zigzag manner.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to apply one or more rows of fasteners.
