METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING NARCOTIC AND PSYCHOACTIVE SUBSTANCES IN COMPLEX BIOLOGICAL MATRICES OF A HUMAN BODY Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N30/86

Abstract RU 2705932 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chromatography-mass-spectrometric analysis and can be used in medicine, biology, ecology and doping control for identification of narcotic and psychoactive substances in human hair and nails. Method for identifying narcotic and psychoactive substances in complex biological matrices of a human body involves preparing a human biosubstrate sample in the form of hair cuts or nail plates, and performing its first preliminary mass-spectrometric analysis with recording of a signal of a mass spectrometer detector in the form of a profile of peaks of analyzed substances on a chromatogram with subsequent determination of the affinity of each peak to the analyzed substance by comparison with reference analytical characteristics of the substance, further N successive preliminary mass-spectrometric studies are successively carried out, before each of which the biosubstrate sample is washed with methanol, at that, after preliminary mass-spectrometric studies, a human biosubstrate sample is ground to powder state to a fraction of millimeters and a final mass-spectrometric study is performed, wherein if successive preliminary mass-spectrometric studies show successive reduction of the mass of analyzed substances and a significant increase in weight thereof in final mass spectrometry, a decision is made to identify these substances in the human biosubstrate.

EFFECT: high reliability of the results of identifying narcotic and psychoactive substances in the human body and widening the range of equipment.
