SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metamaterials. Device for tuning cell (201, 501, 801) of metamaterial, comprising: metamaterial cell (201, 501, 801), having negative refraction index, wherein metamaterial metal cell (201, 501, 801) comprises: base (203, 503, 803), magnetic resonator (204, 506, 808) located on first side of base (203, 503, 803), and conducting structure (206, 508, 810) arranged in connection with magnetic resonator (204, 506, 808) and located on second side of base (203, 503, 803). Conducting structure (206, 508, 810) comprises: first conductor (510, 812), second conductor (512, 814) and capacitance (514, 816) formed between first conductor (510, 812) and second conductor (512, 814); and tunable element (202, 502, 802) connected to metamaterial cell (201, 501, 801), containing plurality of liquid crystals (516, 818) arranged inside container (514, 816), wherein adjustment of set of electromagnetic properties of adjustable element adjusts resonance of metamaterial cell (201, 501, 801).
EFFECT: disclosed are metamaterials reinforced with ferrite.
