FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for implementation of adiabatic gas compression method and is intended for production of nanopowders of silicon. Device for producing silicon nanopowders by way of adiospective compression of monosilane comprises cylindrical housing 4 with heated reaction volume of 20, sealed cover 18 and piston 14 of reaction volume 20 with possibility of reciprocal movement, as well as channels of input of reaction mixtures 15 and power supply unit in form of pneumatic cylinder with power piston 7, connected by rod 28 with piston 14 of reaction volume 20, wherein the device is equipped with sealed volume 21 for collecting powders and removing gaseous reaction products, and external rod 2 is mounted on the power-accelerating pneumatic piston 7, which enables to control the rate and compression ratio of the reaction mixture during the working process.
EFFECT: device enables to obtain chemically pure silicon nanopowders in a wide range of initial pressures and temperatures of initial mixtures with the possibility of more accurate control of the rate and compression ratio of the initial gas mixture and thereby synthesis conditions of nanopowders, determining their morphological properties and allowing, besides, collection and accumulation of produced powders in medium of neutral gases by their removal from reaction volume through sluice excluding contact of powders with air.
