SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Mobile terminal sends an initial scheduling request (SR) to the base station. Next scheduling request to base station is transmitted if mobile terminal buffer state changes, wherein buffer state change is that time value expired from previous SR transmission exceeds threshold.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing improved systems and methods for triggering uplink scheduling requests in a telecommunication system.
