SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to medical equipment, namely to Emergency Military Tourniquet. The tourniquet contains flat sling with first and second groups of tackles power chain blocks at the ends. The first and second groups of tackles power chain blocks are connected to each other by a cord laid through them with ends going in one direction and fixed on a half ring-shaped holder. The cord is made with possibility of tightening the entire length by pulling its ends simultaneously. The tourniquet contains protective-fixing flat sling at one end of the flat sling, which is laid through the first and second groups of tackles power chain blocks and fixed together with the ends of the cord on the specified holder, a contactor located at one end of the flat sling, and a slip-hook for connection with the contactor located at one end of a flat sling.

EFFECT: technical result is simplifying of the procedure for applying a tourniquet on a bleeding limb and creation of possibility to carry out this operation with one hand with less effort without use of fine motor skills of the hand and fingers which are needed to use the tourniquet.
