FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the food industry, in particular to a method, a device and a computer program product on a machine-readable medium for identification of the initial degree of roasting of coffee beans. Method includes steps of measuring information indicating temperature change of coffee beans during coffee beans roasting; and identifying initial degree of roasting of coffee beans at least partially based on the measured information. Also disclosed is a corresponding device and a computer program product on a machine-readable medium.
EFFECT: using the group of inventions enables to produce a roasting profile based on the initial degree of roasting of incoming coffee beans.
