FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: machine for roasting coffee beans is proposed, which contains a vessel for placing coffee beans, an electric heating device for heating them, at least one temperature sensor for measuring the temperature in the vessel, and a control system configured to control the heating device. The control system is configured to apply a roasting recipe for roasting pre-partially roasted beans, including at least a roasting profile, by controlling the electric heating device based on temperature sensor measurements, detecting over time a decrease in heater power consumption, stopping heating it if after the specified control time t1 there is no reduction in electricity consumption. A method for roasting coffee beans and a processing unit for the control system of the machine for roasting coffee beans are also proposed.
EFFECT: improving the roasting of coffee beans.
