FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to trasology and can be used to determine the prescription of a trace in operational search and search-and-rescue activities. For this investigation of the intra-shear substrate, vegetative sprouts of mosses with orthotropic growth type are investigated, on which stem growth over impact geotropic bends is measured. Then, in the conditions under investigation, an experimental trace is laid, on which immediately after formation of impact geotropic bends, primary measurement of stem growth is performed. In 5–15 days secondary measurement of stem growth is performed. Based on the obtained data, the daily average value of the gain in the experimental trace is determined, as well as the value of the stem involved in the growth. Determination of prescription of analyzed trace (T) is performed by formula: T=(L-L0)/S, where L is the stem growth on the investigated trace, cm, L0 – value of stem involved in increment, cm, S – average daily increment, cm/day.
EFFECT: invention widens the time range of determining the prescription of the trace and increases accuracy of determining its prescription during investigative, forensic and criminalistic purposes.
