FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. Method for determining indications for conducting an anti-angiogenic therapy of macular edema in post-thrombotic retinopathy involves performing coherent optical tomography of the affected patient's macula, wherein thickness of central area of retina (TR), mm, and total volume of macula (VM), mm3, affected eye. Coefficient of readings (K) is calculated by formula: K=exp(-13.9+12.09×TR+0.33×VM)/[1+exp(-13.9+12.09×TR+0.33×VM)], where exp – exponential equal to 2.72. If condition 0.00039<K≤0.75 is satisfied, anti-angiogenic therapy of macular edema in post-thrombotic retinopathy is considered to be indicated.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables higher accuracy of determining readings for the anti-angiogenic therapy of macular edema in post-thrombotic retinopathy.
