FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to semiconductor DC converters used in self-contained power supply systems and adjustable electric drive. Voltage converter with cooled capacitor bank comprises housing with two compartments. First compartment includes semiconductor transistor-diode modules and is hermetically sealed. Second compartment contains filtration capacitors and is ventilated. Power leads of capacitors are connected to the first compartment through sealing elements. Power leads of capacitors are electrically connected to power buses of direct current arranged in parallel to each other. Each busbar has a row of electrodes installed directly on power outputs of semiconductor modules.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of operation of voltage converter, improved weight and dimensions, reliable sealing of compartment of power electronics with minimum length of sealed joint, unification of sealing elements for wide standard row of power capacitors.
