FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is intended for flow analysis of urine. Disclosed are a device, a system and a probe, the system comprising an image analyzer unit operably coupled to the image capturing unit and/or a control unit through a wired or wireless communication channel, wherein the image analyzer unit comprises a processor and software configured to analyze one or more images captured by the image capturing unit to obtain information therefrom, associated with identification of urine properties and/or objects of interest in a continuous urine stream, and the probe is configured to be inserted into a urinary catheter insertable into a patient's bladder, or into a conduit leading from a urinary catheter into a urine collection container or a removal system. At the same time, the device comprises an image capturing unit arranged along a longitudinal axis of the urinary catheter or a pipeline between the patient and the urine collection container, wherein the image capturing unit is configured to capture images of a continuous stream of urine flowing through the urinary catheter or pipeline, and comprises an image sensor and an optical assembly. Optical unit in the image capturing unit is configured to focus light reflected from the continuous urine stream or passing through it, through field of view of image capturing unit to said image sensor, and control unit, functionally connected to all other components of device by means of wire or wireless communication channel. At that, control unit is configured to work as input device, which provides possibility of manual control, transmission of control commands from peripheral devices or programming of software and processing means in control unit for automatic control of said image capturing unit and any other components of device, as well as operation as an output device configured to transmit data associated with images, obtained by said image capturing unit, by means of wire or wireless communication channel peripheral devices. Device is configured to be connected to the urinary catheter, inserted into patient's bladder, or connection to pipeline, which passes from urinary catheter to urine accumulation tank or into removal system.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a system for performing flow analysis of urine in real time.
