FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. Disclosed is exciter, in which main switching element is connected to main current path. Input electrode of the switching element on the side of a higher potential and the output electrode of the switching element on the side of the lower potential are electrically connected to the control electrode of the main switching element. First resistance is connected between input electrode of switching element on side of lower potential and control electrode of main switching element. First capacitor is connected in parallel to the first resistance, and the second capacitor is connected between the point of connection of the first resistance and the control electrode of the main switching element and the electrode on the side of higher potential of the main switching element.
EFFECT: reduced losses during switching and suppression of voltage surge.
