FIELD: methods and devices for marking.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to identification of material resources and can be used for marking of metal conducting parts, namely, to the rolled products, vehicle parts, engineering products, aircraft construction, nuclear industry and defense products. Method of obtaining an identification mark on a ferromagnetic part includes preliminary heating of a ferromagnetic part to a melting point using a laser beam, then, amorphous element is introduced into zone of heated section of ferromagnetic part, and this section of ferromagnetic part is cooled with liquid air or liquid nitrogen.
EFFECT: obtaining an identification mark with high resistance to aggressive chemical medium, which provides high efficiency of the disclosed method.
